Improper Fractions: 1

When the top number of a fraction is greater than or equal to the number on the bottom, it is an “improper” fraction. Many improper fractions convert easily back to integers.

The improper fraction 6/3 is the same as 6 ÷ 3.
So 6/3 = 2.
